Get out of Gate no. 2 of GTB metro station (just a metro station from Vishwavidyalay on the yellow line or a 10 minutes walk from North Campus) and you land in Mukherjee Nagar ,crowded and busy as always. But that doesn't mean that you will feel bored and irritated. If you know the places in Mukherjee Nagar, you will like this place!

Let's start with the huge Dhaka Hostel Complex of Delhi University. There are 5 women's hostel -Undergraduate Hostel for Girls, Rajeev Gandhi Hostel for Girls,International Hostel for Women, Ambedkar Ganguly Hostel and North-East Hostel for Women. UGHG has a capacity of 600 Undergraduate girls with rooms on double sharing. RGHG is for Post-Graduate Hostel with rooms on dual sharing basis. These hostels house students from nearly all college of Delhi University. All the hostels have a beautiful campus. You can see beautiful peacocks within the campus and see them dancing in the rain. Don't leave the chance to apply to these hostels, and you may keep visiting this campus and enjoy seeing the peacocks (even males can enter the hostel campus, but not the rooms, of course ;) )

Want to watch a movie but broke, as usual? Just go to Batra Cinema at Mukherjee Nagar (take a share auto for Rs. 5 from gate no. 2 of GTB Nagar metro station, or just walk the distance through friends, chattering all the way). And watch a movie for just Rs. 75.
