Life on Campus : SGTB Khalsa College

The first college at the very onset of north campus is SHRI GURU TEGH BAHADUR KHALSA COLLEGE. Named after Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur, the 9th Sikh Guru. It is a co-educational institution established in 1951 by Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee. 

The college believes in providing relevant, specific and latest programs to improve the academic status of the students and develop their professional skills in every aspect. Above all, to create a value-based knowledgeable society.

The college is at a 5-minute walking distance from The Vishwavidhyala metro station, making it the nearest college to the station. 

Khalsa had a very modest beginning as an institution, with four rooms in Dev Nagar with 49 students and a faculty of 6 teachers. The college grew to a strength of almost 3000 students and 100+ faculty members. The college shifted to the University Campus in 1973.
